Occupations are the meaningful activities embedded in our everyday routines. They include what we need to do, what we want to do, and what we are expected to do.

As your occupational therapist, my goal is to collaborate with you, the parent or caregiver, to identify what activities are meaningful for your child, determine what developmental skills are needed for full participation in these unique occupations, and problem solve skill building strategies that make sense in natural home, school and community contexts.

She strongly believes in collaborating with families to explore fun and therapeutic activities that fit in to their unique family routines and interests. Success with the coaching model in early intervention programs led to the development of a Parent Coaching practice. This is a great option for families in need of virtual services, flexible scheduling, continuity of care, and support for a variety of challenges including bedtime routines, potty training, picky eating, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and behavioral challenges.
